has a great view. It's a good thing I'm so dedicated to my work. Otherwise I'd
never get anything done. Want to understand the power of VMware.

If you maintain computers in a humid climate like Hawaii, you need Stabilant 22A, a contact enhancer that solves most intermittent, flaky hardware behavior. Just use a drop on the edge contacts of boards and the pins of removable chips. It is incredible!!! |
Telecommuting, distance working, whatever you call it, the rewards are significant when you can live where you want and still work where you want. But the challenges are just as great. Here are two hints to making it work.

The distinction between working and not working blurs when you telecommute. Occasionally I eat at late lunch after my mainland colleagues have gone home for the day at the Kalapaki Beach Hut where there's a great view of the beach, trade winds blowing almost everyday, and the best fish sandwich on Kauai. If you drive by Kalapaki Beach late in the afternoon and see my Mustang or 1970 Ford Ranchero parked there, stop and say hi. Before you think I've got it just too easy, remember, although it is a great place, I'm still working. And since my office is also my home I often find myself working at 8 PM too. |
